This is an extra-large, 15 count per pound wild gulf shrimp that has been peeled and deveined with the tail left on for ideal cooking and a beautiful presentation. Wild gulf shrimp are naturally sweet and are a versatile seafood that can be baked, boiled, fried or grilled—and works equally well as the main attraction or a supporting player in a salad or side dish. The shrimp are about 15 count per pound and are individually frozen in two pound bags for easy thawing. They are as delicate as eggs in regards to cooking time, and should be removed from heat when they start to change color to pink. Shrimp are high in Omega-3 calcium, iodine and protein but low in calories.

Company was out of this particular size when I ordered so they upgraded me to a larger shrimp (same cost of course). The freshness, the texture, the taste......out of this world! Where I live, fresh "frozen" shrimp are rubbery and tasteless. These shrimp are so full of flavor and shipped overnight. Order today and enjoy tomorrow! Well worth the extra cost.
